So love has been in the air much lately as has marriage.

My new job working in relation to the No on 8 effort in California is of course a foci for all of this.  On Friday I attended my first same sex wedding, you know because this is the first time it’s legal y’all and none of my close same sex relationship oriented friends have been in relationships that suggest marriage.  None of course, except Qing & Diego.

Love’s a many splendor thing and so it fits in mightily with the theme of this blog. And the story of a heterosexual couple above definitely fits in with the idea of this blog hence I felt, it’s time.

So here I am, back, with some sunshine, some optimism and links to stories I feel share the brighter bits of life, brighter bits like LOVE.

The way of violence leads to bitterness in the survivors and brutality in the destroyers. But, the way of non-violence leads to redemption and the creation of the beloved community.”   (more…)
